Update

For years I have been telling people that there is an alligator in the Los Angeles Harbor. They caught him and gave him a stupid name. After 2 years of different hunters bragging about how they were going to be the ones who caught him, and supposedly booking Steve Irwin before he passed, they finally caught Reggie the Alligator and arrested him. You can see him at L A Zoo soon.

About the internet rumors- one thing I have to know. How can "reporters" put their name on reports that continually end up being bull shit and maintain any credibility? Always wondered that. As for how it feels reading about yourself? Sometimes it's flattering, sometimes it's offensive, sometimes it's funny and sometimes it's just silly but too lame to be funny.

I can save everyone a lot of time by letting everyone know that I won't be doing wrestling-related interviews at this time, other than WWE-appointed. You might catch some of my media press on Friday I'll be doing in Jacksonville to promote Sunday's One Night Stand. I'll probably say something cool.

Have a great weekend everybody and remember, it's going to be a great fucking summer!

Well man, finally your wwe contract expired, I don't know what are you planning to do but if you are planning to go to TNA or be drafted to RAW I am going to follow you. I wish you to stay in the WWE with a new contract and watch you kicking the John Cena's ass but it is your choice not mine.
Good luck man! I hope to see ya soon, thank you for all those years of pure wrestling. Bye from Costa Rica

Hello,

Hey, thats cool about the alligator. I miss Steve Irwin, he has done so much for animal rights.

For one fan post on this blog YES, I CAN'T STAND RANDY ORTON. I am the same age as he is "26/27" and I still can't believe he still has a job. I heard he was AWOL'ed "Dishonerable Discharge" from the military due to his conduct. I think he has alot of growing up to do. I also think he has no talent and the only reason he is in WWE is his dad otherwise he does not belong there. Yes, I know these are stong statements but I believe others agree with me.

I hope you and everyone has a great summer and whatever you do your fans are behind you 100%. I know you hear this every day but I think you are the best wrestler today and we hope to see you again.

Take care,
Joni

Hey Rob, first I want to say no matter which way your career takes you, you have the most loyal fans and we'll have your back the whole way! I also want to acknowledge the AWESOME job you did of putting Randy Orton over. If this is the last we see of you in WWE, it is a class act to bow out gracefully and help make somebody look good. Funny how somebody who gives so much back gets such a bad rap amongst the "suits." Oh well, let the haters hate, and keep doin what you do. Those that matter don't mind, those that mind, F'em. Thanks for the memories, can't wait to see you on the Ladder Match DVD, and can't wait to see you when you get back, wherever it may be.

Hi Rob,nothing like being free for the summer right. Well i hope i was. I recognize you wrestlers work all year traveling around the United States & other countries too.I believe you more then many other wrestlers deserve a great rest. You been working hardcore for years slamming over tables chairs etc. We seen in wrestlers like the Undertaker,Batista getting hurt. People look to be more prone to injuries as they get older and sitting out a year hurt can't be that good. You know that for experience. So take care always and have fun.(Remembrance of your comeback to ECW i was working so i ask my Bro to record the ECW PPV because you were supposly to comeback by some rumors so my Bro recorded the last match and there you came back looking at Rhino face to face then wrestling Jerry Lynn it was one of the biggest moments in ECW history for me. one last thing RVD if you ever comeback and you can't use your one of a kind music it'll be great to hear you again with your old ECW theme music.I'm not 100% sure, but think it was walk from pantera. bye,Rob from probally you biggest fan J.L.-T.V. For the record, I enjoy watching ECW on SciFi simply because of the ECW Originals; you are the ones keeping the spirit of ECW alive and well. I read your past blog post saying that "this new ECW crap sucks", and I can't blame you for that. But, ECW - and WWE, in general - will NEVER be the same without you in it. I hope you'll stay in the WWE.

Hi Rob:

The stretcher match was awesome at ONS. I think the one with you and Sabu was better, but that's because Orton is no Sabu. Have a great summer, heal up and PLEASE come back! It's hard to watch ECW every week knowing that I won't see you or Sabu. At least we still have Dreamer, Sandman and Balls.

RVD that is pretty cool about the gator. Kind of reminds me of a story about a gator that was in my towns lake a few years ago. No one believed it until it was sunbathing on a ladies deck. Big sucker too, must have been there for a very long time. No one knows how the thing got from the swamps several miles away into this little lake in the middle of such a crowded area. Love reading your blog.

Hi RVD, just like everyone here i really love your blog. I feel right at home with many people who share some of my same thoughts, on WWE,wrestling and of course we all feel your the best wrestler today. You done remarkable things in this sport especially in the old ECW. You have a great combination of strength, speed, agility.Plus you got more moves than Michael Jordan right.Rob when you camed Back to WWE after your last injury i loved that music they played for you before you return . When they were hyping your wrestling comeback. It was the same one of a kind song, but showed a part i didn't see in your theme song at least not during your entrance. It had something special that i beleve that your theme song starting at that point or at least being able to be heard some at the beginning would ad little bit more to your characther. I mean every song hogan had at WCW or his WWE return wasn't the same as I am a real American , theme song. It had that low sound then poping into this huge adrenaline when the song gets changed and gets louder. So i believe it'll be huge that if feel like coming back to WWE use this part of the song as it's beginning. And now i feel like i'm alive- don't know just how i got so slow- these voices in my mind tell me it's killing time-it is a thrill i can't describe- what daya see?then bang your chorus-one of a kind. I don't know if this is heard at the end when you win a match or when the song runs long ,but thing is fans watching T.V. don't usually get to hear much parts of the song. and i was "dying" that when you made your comeback it would be with this part of the song ,but i never heard this part during your theme entrance. I believe it will refreshing your comeback by having you song chaned a bit. they gave you a new song for your last WWE soundtrack(same lyrics), but i believe it was a bit to loud for my taste and many other fans. especially little kids.Sorry for writing to much , take care bye. From probally you biggest fan J.L.-T.V hasta la "vista"

Hi Rob, you know what i really don't remember much of the song pantera, but if for example you go to TNA , which now i doubt you might end up there. It will be a song which fans could identify you quickly and say that's R.V.D.-As soon as you made your surprise return to ECW when you were looking face to face with Rhino , fans heard that walk song from pantera, and they said that's R.V.D. and pop imediatly. It be more for the beginning of your comeback till you decide which song you like. and a good song is always good to have. you take away Hogans theme song, HHH , HBK,stonecold, and it's never ever the same even the warriors song, so there's nothing wrong about fixing your song or just coming back with an old one.Changing the subject the WWE is not talking like your be going some where else. They even have a Poll to ask where fans would like you to be after the draft. And i put Raw. If you have to stay in WWE i would like Raw. Smackdown might be putting Kennnedy for the title, probally as a face and Edge is still there ,batista might go to Raw. Carlito might go to Smackdown his brother is coming soon and it will probally be to Smackdown.Smackdown is a place better to develope young talent because the show is almost always recorded. HHH is coming back you know that idiot, want's the title and there's Cena . So Raw or Smackdown might not be the best place for you. I just would like you to be on the highest rated show where most fans watch. ECW is just isn't the same.you might probally stay there and feud with Randy who i wrote before might go to ECW, I might be wrong ,but i have no problem with that i just speak my mind.If i say something ofensive to you forgive me for that.Your my favorite wrestler and I want you to to be seen by every one , have the best storylines, beat the best and be able to showcase yourself as a winner , not jobing after you have been champ. HHH jops only in return to get more titles. He made a story with Randy then gives Randy the title just so he can take it away from him. since then Randy orton when from the guy spitting the face of HHH. to almost nothing, and when he came back to Raw fans started again cheering for him, but they put him against, hogan and as Edge friend. What better way to pull you back down then to go against a love legend and then team up with the old version of HHH , EDGE.Ask batista what happens when you face a love legend with out establashing more of your own. He faced the babyface Undetaker. Fans only cheered for Taker.HHH hangs out with Ric Flair and HBK. to be liked again. the WWE knows how to sabotage ones career with those Tricks and for that reason and more is that i don't know where you might be better at.I wish you the best and would like to see you like you were back in the day in ECW and to think you never had the world title back then , but you were loved like no other.because you had it all. I wish things would be more like the early 90's where you didn't have to be funny to have a push. well take care Rob and what ever happens with your comeback i hope that every match you have ends uo with an Frogsplash. One of a Kind style. From probally you biggest fan J.L.-T.V. adios amigo.

Watched ONS and was wishin to pound Orton cuz he's such a no-talent arogant show off, maybe the most hated in the business. Hi RVD,

I want to say, "Hey man, thank you for entertaining me". I just discovered ECW few months ago and i can say that i was looking at the shows to mainly see you wrestling. That's too bad i didn't see you a long time...
Be happy man and find something that you would like better. You are one of a kind RVD. Looking at WWE wrestling now especially at ECW lost a "kind of magic entertaining touch", the RVD touch.
Good luck man, have some good moments. Now that i discovered this site, i would like to hear about your career and how it will change for better roads.

Alligator? Wow. Just out of curiosity, how DID you know that there was an alligator there? (I've never heard of one being found there before - I live in New Zealand, sorry I didn't get to catch you at Road to Wrestlemania!)

Rumors are usually just by people who have nothing better to do than spread gossip and/or want their name to be momentarily known. Pathetic, but true.

By the way, I don't know if you actually have any choice, but please don't go to TNA - I don't have that channel on my TV (which is okay, because I don't really watch much TV except for WWE... and Heroes, though that series is coming to an end here next week. Damn..)

Happy alligator-infested summer (though here it's winter),
Hannah - probably not your biggest fan due to the ammount of people that like you, but I try :)

Rob-
Let me say first and formost that the only reason I began watching pro wrestling was because of you. A good friend forced me to sit down and watch the revival of ECW on Sci Fi last summer, and from your first match on, I have never missed a Tuesday night to watch you.
As I live in Jacksonville, Florida, I was in the crowd for your stretcher match, and I just wanted to say, that in a mixed audience of Smackdown and Raw fans mostly, me and the few I was with were so proud to call you ours when we stood up and chanted "ECDUB" and heard it chanted back from all over the arena.
You gave a hell of a match, and I was so happy that I saw my favorite wrestler on his last night in WWE.
I adore you, and thank you so much for everything you've done for ECW and wrestling in general. I am so proud to be a fan of the ECW that was Paul Heyman's vision, and I appreciate you carrying that on your shoulders for as long as you have.
Tell Sabu I said hello.
Thanks,
Brianne V.

Hello Rob,So Yep the ECW world title is vacant, and now Chris Benoit will be given a chance to win the title. Because they weren't interested in him having the Smackdown title and you know he didn't last as Raw champ for that much. So Raw seems to be up in the draft picks yet again getting the top rising stars from Smackdown and ECW. probally there wasn't anyone more valuable to Smackdown and ECW then those two.(Lashley and Kennedy) So that leaves the space for you to come and feud with Orton which will be sent to ECW to feud with you if you comeback. Benoit and Orton are known names but none of them the WWE are much interested in so they flop them to the 3rd rate show. If they really want to help ECW what don't they send Cena,Batista or why didn't they sent Kennedy or send in later HHH. I loved ECW but i'm not going to say that its doing great cause it isn't. Sure the WWE will keep it afloat putting in some talent just so they could still keep a good rating and don't loose there time slot in the near future. Big deal Smackdown got Edge everyone hates him my friend turn of the channel as soon as he saw him. These days the WWE can't have a guy be a heel without making him swear at the fans and at his own country.Year after year the WWE try to fool fans with these draft.I want the WWE to Send someone great to ECW and keep them there.I know your great but your still part of this show.In the past i hated when guys left WWE to WCW. but when the WWE got to rule the wrestling bussiness this is the best they can't do. I want you to be part of a great show that is respected but it isn't the same when the same guy is running each 3 of the shows and interested more in one of them. and to thing i was happy about the WWE buying WCW.Just When wrestlers start to be great there sent to Raw.So it's like trading a franchise wrestler for a veteran.I don't know what going to happen with your career but where ever you go i hope you could get creative control and have a clause where you could leave if you don't like the situation. I know i know things don't work out that easily some things just can't be done. Just don't let them screw you. If the WWE offers anything good to you is it because they wan't to or they feel they have to?. All those years before you got injured how much did they value you? Us fans might not know exactly what is your relationship now with the WWE, but we can see by your matches , wins losses , promos you get or you don't get world titles you have held for the past 7 in the WWE and type of opponents your involed with in the WWE just how much they have consider you over your WWE career. Sure ECW and the WWE will never be the same without you ,but how will you feel with them for the next few years. Your an grown man but sometimes decisions could be though.Theres money involed your family and your pride.I believe your a person that might feel comfortable with less, but you deserve more and i hope you get it where ever it might be. goodnight Rob "hasta la vista".

Hi Rob hope your feeling good.Well Rob i finally was able to see your match from One Night Stand. It was a very good match. The crowd was really behind you all the way.I just didn't like the ending after the match it takes away from the match actual results.I wish the match would have last a bit more. The match itself didn't last that long.Top stars usually get 25min. matches at least. That one of the reason wrestlemania isn't the same they try to cut every match short just to have space for the mainevent and if they put fewer matches other people get disapointed to be left out.Anyway i'm glad i saw your match and you still look in great shape.I like the dragons on your wrestling gear. I would like to see you also dress more colorful like the 1st wrestling gear you used with the WWE back then when you wrestle Jeff Hardy for the very 1st time. That wrestling gear and the orange one with the skull are probally the favorite ones i would use if i was a wrestler. On the other hand i'll be honest and say you have this other colorful wrestling gear that i dislike its probally the only one i don't really like i think is the one you used for your comeback at the Royal Rumble, but thats my taste and it's just one out of a hundred.I'm not hear to kiss ass but i hoping you kick some as soon as you return where ever that might be.From probally you biggest fan J.L.-T.V. Yo, Rob. I've been a fan of your's for over 10 years. I love wrestling, but since 2004, watching WWe/f has been unbearable. I do not watch any more, but still try to keep informed on the net. Then came ONS 2005, it was like a dream come true. Every match kicked ass and it seemed like we 'wrestling fans' were getting what we deserved, and it seemed the old ECW stars were getting what they deserved. I hoped and prayed the mcmahon would see that he should bring back. Your shoot interview that night was one of the highlights for me, because I agreed with every word, and even though it sucked that you were injured, at least I got to see Sabu wrestle for the 1st time in years. But then after the ppv, you were drafted to RAW
,and the ECW ressurgence seemed to have ended. Then there was ONS 2006, which was being hyped as the relaunch of ECW with a weekly show on sci-fi. Dream come true. Once again a great ppv awesome from start to finish. Paul E gave his speech, Taz shut Lawlers big mouth, Big Show got Extreme, the extreme olympic hero proved he belonged, Sabu vs. Mysterio!!! And the best part was seeing you kick John Cena's ass and finally become world champion. Years overdo. But then came Tuesday night on sci-fi, the only part of that show that was worth watching was you being presented the ECW world title. Then on June 24, 06, I went up to the ECW arena for the 1st ECW show in that legendary venue in over 5 years. I went up to the Arena without a ticket, just wanted to see what type of crowd showed up. My friend and I managed to get tickets, it was almost magical, it had been so unlikely to get in. It was clear that night that wwe/mcmahon weren't very serious about the new ECW. On a night SO historically important to the sport of pro wrestling, there was not one camera filming. I knew then that they weren't planning on airing it on sci-fi, but why wouldn't they want to try to sell it on DVD?! Didn't they want to make money? Didn't the other ECW DVD's that wwe put out make a good bit? Didn't they care about the history of it? Obviously not. The ECW arena holds only so many people, plus alot of ECW fans live too far from Philadelphia to have attended. I'm sure alot of those people would have bought it. Hell, I was there and I would have bought it. Even though the show could've been alot better, they bring out jobbers like Mike Knox and not even anounce who the hell they are. My friend started a 'No one knows you' chant that quickly caught on, as everyone was thinking the same thing, 'who is this cock smoker?'. I swear its like mcmahon has no clue what he's doing. He obviously doesn't. I'm also quite certain that he's a homosexual. There are plenty of great talents he could have brought into the new ECW like Ruckuss, The Amazing Red, Devon Storm, what ever happened to Steve Blackman, he would have fit in. Can some one please tell me why Val Venis wasn't sent to the new ECW??? No we get jabronies like Mike Knox, Matt Striker, and Elija Burke. NOBODIES. NO TALENT. CAN'T WRESTLE. mcmahon should have done whatever he had to do to bring back the Dudley Boyz, Raven, Jerry Lynn, Rhino and the Franchise Shane Douglas. And then there's New Jack. Anyway, that night at the arena you defended the ECW world title against Kurt Angle and it was awesome. The next night I rented wwe vengence to see you defend the wwe title against Edge, again awesome, full contact, hardcore believable match. The next night I watched RAW and you defended the wwe title AGAIN against John Cena. 3 tough-ass brutal title defences in 3 nights, and I was there cheering all three nights. You are definitely a fighting champion, and I'll fight anyone who disagrees. But then 8 days later, ECW was back in Philly at the Wachovia Center on the fourth of July. I had to be there, ECW in Philly on nationwide live t.v. So I got my ticket and I was in the 9th row on the floor. I finally got to see Al Snow in the new ECW, the only time ever. what bullshit! and they made him job to Test. So then you were defending the ECW world title against the Big Show who apparently won a title shot by beating the shit out of Tommy Dreamer for 3 straight weeks. During the match I joined in on a 'marajuana' chant. I'm about as big a fan of marajuana as I am of you. And I know you like it too, it was all to clear in the old ECW. RVD 4:20 ;). I hadn't heard about your arrest, so the rest of the night came as a bit of a surprise. You got screwed and I left the Wacho center screaming the foulest of language, and about to start a fight with lame-ass wwe fans. My friends and I did think it was kind of funny that you would lose the belt that way, but what a bunch of bullshit. So then Paul E lost much of his power and mcmahon decided he wanted to be the star of ECW. No more Extreme rules matches? WTF? Nevermind the fact that all ECW matches should be under Extreme rules. They don't have to be bloody and use barbed wire, just high impact, full contact, so tables and chairs thrown in... And the wwe is capable, they've done it before. The last good match I saw in ECW was you vs. Hardcore Holly. When he went through that table, and had that bloody gash on his back, that should've made him, he should've been a star from that point on. If that had happened at the ECW arena, the fans would've started chanting 'He's Hardcore'. But mcmahon is an idiot, who doesn't know the first thing about promoting good wrestling, or presentation. All he knows is how to put on a circus act with alot of man-ass. That's why his stupid wwe fans love it, cause they're fags. TNA has good wrestling and good matches, but they're missing something. I hear TNA impact is switching to a two hour format in September. If that's true and you and Sabu show up there then, it'll all be over for wwe. Who do they have besides Benoit, Mysterio, and Hardcore Holly and Val Venis. Booker T was cool before he became King Booker. CM Punk sucks alot. He has nothing, he's a jabronie.
Anyway I hope to see you wrestle again, but I have to be able to take that shit somewhat seriously to enjoy it, which means great matches, (You don't need any help there) and a show that doesn't make me feel embarrased that I'm watching something so stupid, even when I'm alone. It doesn't seem so difficult, but its so hard to find now.

Say Hello to Sabu for me, and keep smoking the Chriznos.

Hi Rob, Looks like C.Benoit will be the new ECW champ right.Fighting against E.Burke,C.M Punk and the alpha male. This is even worst then when K.Angle won the battle royal to become Smackdown World Champ when he replaced injured batista. How many of these guys been world champ? answer just Benoit.I can't watch the ECW shows now so i don't know how there pushing theses other guys lately or else i be 100% sure.It will be better if they just give the belt to Benoit. You know Rob worst thing about rebuilding new ECW talent is that they want you to job to other to all the younger guys because you were the only real superstar there.Lashley almost didn't even loose. All these new ECW guys ain't nothing unless they defeat a top star so you could bet Benoit would have to job to these guys too.Nothing wrong about helping rise young talent ,but when theres so many new faces and theres only 2 top stars in the show.Especially your self you havn't receive a long run with the World title yet to be joping.especially if you loose to a guy, you should win a rematch. especially if your a baby face(good Guy). Loosing to elijah Burke , mounty brown , getting beating up by Snitsky. Like Hurricane would say Whats up with that? A great match is usually remembered by its ending. You had some other great matches that you probally would put in you future dvd the best of RVD.like that match you had with Test in ECW great match with a quality opponent, but still you didn't get the win.You could love a Wrestling superstar ,but if you keep seeing him loose you get to be very disapointed, but you keep waiting in on a great victory against a great superstar, but in a great match.that would last enough to be able to enjoy it. Those were your matches vs Jerry lynn,Christian , Jeff Hardy, great long matches with clean victories without getting your a? pounded at the end after you win the match.I was still waiting on more of those matches, but against bigger superstars like Undertaker ,HBK and Cena.but guys like HBK you think they want to give you any beef ,by letting you beat them? No way HBK defeated Bret at wrestlemania ,but didn't want to return the favor. He lost to K.Angle just to beat him in the rematch and get the best of him in there 3rd match.HBK lost to Hogan , but like HHH wrote on WWE Magazine there was suppose to be a rematch where HBK would defeat Hogan ,but Hogan later refuse,HBK doesn't accept a match without getting a rematch to win.Wrestling might be F-k- ,but theres a lot of pride in loosing. thats one of the reason there wasn't a Hogan vs Austin match at Wrestle Freakinmania Rob. You know it many fans know it.WWE really S--- now they keep making Cena win for so long there trying to build Cena into the new WWE Hogans. TNA is good, Russo mest it up a bit by making to many changes at once . I hate guys turning face then heel in a matter of months or weeks.I like wrstling to look believable like a good movie, but still they make good matches ,but they need to atract other fans by putting some good entertaining wreslers like yourself. Samoa joe is good ,but you thing he would bring more fans. Many new fans tune in to wrestling when theres good storylines or theres wrestlers talking crap like Austin,Rock Kennedy,Cena. then they could start to like the other aspect of it like its wrestling. I know that i lived it.When new fans tune in to the old ECW what did they saw? 1st of all they saw that great crowd chanting all through the show. It's those type of thinks that atract new none wrestling fans and wrestling fans. Kennedy said he started watching wrestling when they told him about stone cold talking trash on TV.I really think you could help wrestling. you got a great among of faithful fans that would follow you where ever you go.Of course like they followed you to the WWF.Everyone chanting RVD because they knew you from ECW and wanted the world to know i know RVD from before WWF he's one hell of a wrestler and every ECW fan felt part of you ,because you represented yourself and ECW.It was like saying thats my brother outhere. They felt this pride in knowing you from before. but just like WCW did to Bret WWE started doing to you. Especially to canadian fans all of them knew Bret like a winner ,but in WCW they started making him loose to much. sure he started well at the beginning just like you ,but afterwards ,thats another story. How could us fan follow wrestling when you get to like a certain wrestler with all the talent in the world and they hold them back or misuse them.guys like Jeff and Carlito will be kept in TagTeam competition just like you were with kane and booker. Do fans really care how good there in the mic. those thing could be work around with anyway.WWE doesn't know how to do things now adays. It's more about themselves then the fans.Still what ever happens with your career i hope is for the best i truly do not about wrestling but about your personal life. Sometimes It's not about what wee can see and it's more about how you feel. But that we can never know for certain ,can we? From a true fan watching this sport since about four years of age or as long as i could remember. wishing you and wrestling the best for the best.J.L.-T.V. Probally your biggest fan. Hi Rob. Boy I bet you're glad that your aren't at work now. This whole "death of the chairman" angle is pretty weak. It's crazy to see Joey and Tazz pretend like they are sad about the passing of Vince. I know that many wrestlers have spoken out in the past about ECW being crap (we know that it never was) and I was wondering what you thought about CZW. Do you think that those guys are hacks? To anybody who doesn't know what I'm talking about - check out one of their videos sometime. Their Death Match Tournaments have more blood than the red cross. They go alittle overboard sometimes - to the point of insanity. I saw one match where one of their main guys (Wife Beater - I think) won a tournament by using a running weekwacker (with blades) on another guy. The front row was covered in blood. I was just wondering what guys in the wrestling industry thought about that kind of stuff. Hope to see you in the ring soon....Satanika

Hi Rob,do you think the WWE is going a little overboard with these stories and angles about vince being dead? I mean Sensational Sherri just died and they still go on with this a tribute to vince. I know they probally had to do this to make it seem more realistic. I mean the WWE has done this a many times when wrestlers have died they did it with Owen , Eddie not sure if they did it with Brian Pillman. But that suppose to be something serious it's probally disrespectful to other wrestlers that had died and to families that have really lost someone. Is this all just for Ratings cause the show hasn't been as hot as old times .They even have made many 3 hours special to improve it. I havn't seen the raw show i imagine they probally paid some type of comical jokes ,but still it just doesn't seem right. About Sherri she died pretty young as Miss elizabeth Two WWE Legendary women that were part of one of Wrestlemania biggest moment Savage vs Warrior. One manage Hogan Savage Luger the other manage HBK and Savage also plus was along side Ted Dibiase.Respects to there families.Hey Rob you know what I loved to manage you you think i could borrow Fonsi Whistle isure wish he still be able to manage you.On my book he's one of the greatest managers he was truly entertaining to see i loved watching the trio of you him and Sabu you be making fun at Sabu or something. Great moments. Any way Rob catch next time next time gadget next time. From Probally your biggest fan J.L.-T.V. sayonara. Rob--Van-- Dam

Hi Rob,

Just wanted to address your comment on reporters. I just went through four years of J-school and I can give you three main reasons why reporters have their names on bullshit articles:

1) They're simply attention whores. This must work, because Nancy Grace has a TV show.

2) Reporters are human, and many humans, often including myself, are lazy. A lazy reporter will put submit an article without going through it to check facts, spelling, etc. A lazy editor doesn't help either.

3) They don't have a choice, or don't know their article has been fucked with. When a reporter hands in copy to an editor, the editor can basically do with it what he want (I've had this happen, but not in a negative way). So they may have no clue what their article will be until it's in print.

So there ya go. Generally, I'd lay blame on the reporter, unless the editor is particularly heavy handed in a bad way.
